The Association of Fundraising Professionals Rockford Area Chapter Invites you to our: Honor Your Own Parade of Heroes Drive Thru Event Tuesday, April 20, 2021 Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club from 12:00pm-1:00pm.

Even though we cannot host our traditional breakfast event this year, we still want to offer you the opportunity to recognize up to 2 individual volunteers, fundraisers, board members, sponsors or partners from your organization who go above and beyond to fulfill your mission.

About the Parade of Heroes Drive Thru Event: 

  • You may recognize up to 2 individuals from your organization by completing the nomination form. Then, invite them to drive-thru the event between noon-1:00 pm. A map of the drivethru route will be emailed to you to share with your honoree(s). Each honoree will receive a boxed lunch, a token of appreciation from AFP, and be featured in the program.
  • We are also asking each nominating organization to either decorate a car in a theme of their choice or dress up as a hero. Your participation in this event will give us all something to smile about and is a wonderful way to show your honoree(s) how grateful you are for their unwavering support.
  • Lunch for the honorees is free of charge. Boxed lunch tickets for non-honorees are $17 each. An email containing a link to purchase lunch tickets will be sent to you on March 1st and will be posted on the AFP Facebook page. Lunch tickets must be purchased by April 13, 2021.

Nominations:

  • Recognize and honor up to 2 of your agency’s volunteers by filling out the nomination form below.
  • Nominators are responsible for inviting their nominees to the drive thru event.
  • All nominees must have a media release form on file with our chapter.
  • All nomination forms must be submitted via email to hsammons@niha.org. To be included in the printed program, nominations must be received by April 13, 2021.
